I was born and raised in Chilliwack. I have lived here all my life, except for the 4 years when I attended UBC in Vancouver. Growing up in Chilliwack, I went to school, played organized sports and participated in the local 4H. After graduating from UBC in 1994 with my Bachelor of Commerce, I started my career as a Realtor in Chilliwack.
In the summer, while going to school, I worked for a construction company, building houses and townhomes. I found “New Construction” interesting, and when I started in Real Estate, I made that my specialty. Over the years, I have developed solid relationships with many builders, and I am always involved with “new developments”. New construction is exciting with cutting edge ideas, designs, and products.
I specialize in “Residential Real Estate in Chilliwack”. I do not sell industrial, commercial or agriculture real estate. I do not negotiate leases or manage rentals. I do not sell property in Abbotsford or Hope. I believe that you cannot be an expert at too many things. Therefore, I focus entirely on “Residential Real Estate in Chilliwack”.
Our two kids were born and raised in Chilliwack. We are involved in many of the local sports programs, organizing, coaching and cheering. Our kids attend the local public schools, so we know the strong and weak characteristics of each of the local schools.
Like many families in Chilliwack, we have hiked all the major trails. Chilliwack has many beautiful surrounding mountains, lakes, rivers and many parks. We are a small community of 90,000, yet we are only 70 minutes to downtown Vancouver. I know that these are some of the great features that attract families to our community. In Chilliwack, we have the best of both worlds.
I make it my priority to know about all issues in Chilliwack. I know about proposed green spaces, linear parks and school catchment areas. I know the “Official Community Plan” and all the changes to it. If there are any plans to add a hydro line or twin a gas line in a specific area, I will know about it.
I believe I have the best job in the world, as it is very rewarding to meet new people, build friendships, and find people that “Perfect” place to call their own. If you make Chilliwack your home, I would love to help you with your Real Estate needs.
